Jason Todd: Bat Out of Hell by ElvenWhiteMage Jason Todd: Bat Out of Hell by ElvenWhiteMage
Got this song stuck in my head and, in light of what has happened in recent comics, I decided I'd make a comment:

COMIC BOOK CHARACTERS NEVER STAY DEAD.

(Took me 5 minutes in Photoshop.) Picture was borrowed from Issue #0 of Red Hood and the Outlaws, by Scott Lobdell, Pasqual Ferry, Ig Guara, and Brett Booth, found on Google and cropped for my own purposes.

Jason Todd (c) DC Comics.

No problem. And I think you're right. :) Poor boy needs a bell.

Back before the New 52 the part where Jason actually digs out of his own grave was canon and was awesome. But since his rebirth is now credited to the Pit, it never happened. Though I'm glad this pic refers to it.

I'm so glad you liked it! I know, I loved the part where he dug himself out of his own grave. That whole thing... *shivers with delight* It was so horrid, but so amazingly written at the same time. Under the Red Hood and Red Hood: The Lost Days are two of my favorite comic arcs of all time.

Oh yeah. I used to just skim through comics while in the store or read comics friends had and later just figure out all I could from Wikipedia. The first comic book I ever truly bought on my own was Red Hood: Lost Days. No joke. And Jason digging his way out of his own grave was just spectacularly done. In both Lost Days and Under the Hood in different ways.

Jensen Ackles does the voice of the Red Hood in one of the Batman anime movies. NPH plays nightwing. It's pretty awesome.

I know, Under the Red Hood is one of my favorite movies and comic arcs. Jason's one of my favorites, lol. :D I can't read the comics he appears in without hearing Jensen Ackles's voice in Jason's lines. Of course, Neil Patrick Harris's voice has since been replaced by Jesse McCartney's for Nightwing (since I watch too much Young Justice for my own good), but he did an excellent job, as well. Didn't NPH also do Hal Jordan's voice for the Justice League: A New Frontier movie?

Amazing style!! There's so much going on but at the same time, it all works together that my eye is not overwhelmed. :) As always, you're awesome!

LOL, thanks, but it isn't my picture... (I guess I forgot to put that in there... will remedy that momentarily.) That's from Red Hood and the Outlaws #0, by Scott Lobdell and Kenneth Rocafort (I think). ^^; My bad...

Thank you again!
